    On 8/22/17 I placed an online order for a crib with an attached changing table on Babies R Us for in store pick-up, as a ship to home option did not exist. On 8/26/17 I received an email notifying me the product was ready for pick-up. On the morning of 9/3/17, that's EIGHT DAYS later, I received an email that my order was cancelled.     I placed an order from a baby shower registry on June 28, the lady at the store told mine it would take 3-5 business days to get item shipped to my house, I received the email confirmation & it said item will ship 8-11 days, therefore I would not get it in time for shower. I called same day to cancel many order they said they could not cancel many order and I could just return out when I got it.   • Very rude to employee in front of guest



    I was in Babies R Us in Paramus, NJ on Saturday 6/7/2013 at registry. A young female by the name of Elyse was assisting me when another employee that I later found out was a manager started discussing work ethics with Elyse in front of guest. I found this manger whom I later found out name was Margret to be very rude and should have taken the employee in an office.   • Babies R Us Promotional Gift Card Expiration



    We received a $25 promotional gift card as part of a baby shower gift in mid-December. I tried to use at the Babies R Us store yesterday and was told the card had no value because it expired just ten days prior. When I called the corporate help desk, the rep was able to track the purchase date of the card and confirm that the card had not been used but she said policy does not allow reissue or reactivation of the promotional gift card.     My luck hasn't been the best. I'm beyond stressed out!!!! I 1st went to the store to purchase crib & dresser to find out they're out of stock. Then ordered it online. The fist crib & dresser I ordered had to be returned. They delivered the crib & it was damaged shipped it back that same day next day we recieved the dresser.     All customers who expect to get a return or exchange past 90 days and blame the company have a great misunderstanding. There is a 90 day policy for a reason. They do offer plans to extend your return policy on most expensive items so why not pay the extra (35 at max) for 15 months of full coverage? You can't blame workers for following a policy that is clearly stated on a giant sign at all customer service areas.     We would like to thank the group working at the Lauderhill Babies R us (located in commercial Blvd. and University Dr. in Broward) for a wonderful experience when making various important purchases for our upcoming little one.     1. 20% off Britax car seats was not honored on website. Called BRU and after 15 minutes it was honored. 2. Order placed and then the free diaper bag was not honored. Called again and after another 15 minutes order was adjusted to include this advertised diaper bag. 3. On invoice detail of Free Diaper bag it is stated as a MINI diaper bag. What a PITA to get BRU to honor what they advertise. This is our first child and our first and last purchase from this company.     I have shopped at our local Babies R Us (Canton, Ohio) for years, and recently have become extremely annoyed with the badgering received at the checkouts by cashiers trying to get me to sign up for credit cards that I don't want, or buy batteries that have nothing to do with what I am purchasing.     So less than a month ago my husband and I were in Jacksonville, Fl visiting from Tallahassee. I have always loved the Toys/Babies R Us there until now! We have bought everything from furniture, bedding, travel systems, and so on from them. Luckily we have never had to return anything until now.     I purchased a toy chest for my 11 month old niece for Christmas. When we began assembling the toy chest we found that the hardware that was included was for a different toy chest. It has been a month now and my niece still does not have her toy chest.     I purchased a gift card for my friend's baby before Xmas 2007. When my friend tried to use it he was told it had already been used by someone online. Several weeks have gone by, dozens of phone calls & emails & I still have not been help. They promised they would call me back & never did.
